  3.     APPOINTED. Kitty Dukakis, 53, wife of the 1988 Democratic
  4. presidential nominee, Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis; to
  5. the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council; by President Bush; in
  6. Washington. Mrs. Dukakis had been a member of the council from 1980
  7. until 1987, when President Reagan declined to reappoint her. The
  8. council is raising funds to build a museum commemorating the
  9. victims of Nazi genocide.
